This was my first dio and figure attempt and I was very pleased with the out come.

Very cool Tony, great composition and the groundwork looks very realistic, DAK subjects make for great models, have a few Afrika Korps projects myself in the pipeline, love all the deatils like the markings for Tripoli and Tobruk, class :DX

For a first dio this is pretty amazing! I'd love a result like that too if I ever attempt a dio. I think this is fantastic with some outstanding finished models on very nice ground work. The figures look excellent too. I hope this isn't your last dio Tony!

Thanks for posting this up as I'm sure it'll inspire others when they can see what can be done first time on a diorama.

I doubt if i'll ever do another guys.
The main reason being I don't have room in my wifes allotted space for my toys. :lol:

The big rock came from her garden, the smaller rocks from the drive way and the sand from my sand blaster
and Hobby Lobby store.

flipping heck yu have this lark down to a tee. Great Faded colours and the Stones look brill, Inspirational for sure! Even I was looking at tank kits today!!
