What's the status on this one Anon? Did you run out of steam after the deadline passed? I hope you're keeping it going as it's class so far! Looking forward to seeing it under a coat of paint at least.

Just another small update.

Hi Vince,
nothing silly like moving photos.Postimge got shut down I think but everything is still there but instead of postage.org they now use postimage.cc so all the codes for the pics are wrong & will have to be redone. Not much of my pics were saved by postimage so I would have to upload every photo again since I gave up on that other image hosting site that held our photos hostage & demanded a ransom. So all the model meeting shots will also have to be redone.I still have about 98 - 99% of those on me new phone (5 years old now?).
So this is another pain in the ass I don't need,I'll reload pics gradually over time when I get a chance.
Anyway this is a shot of the 125 as it is today,I havn't got much done lately.

Just a quick update,
yet again it's one step forward one back.I painted more Alclad on the wing leading edge & around the landing lights. All went ok till I got some over spray on the port leading edge when using polished aluminium so that panel ended up too bright compared to the rest even after I tried toning it down later.
Here's a shot I took before my boo boo.

Image

I got some black paint on the tail for the cheatline  (just a little touch up to do).So the masking comes off the tailplane at last.A quick loose fit to get an idea of how things look.Pretty good I think.I also primed the front of the intake above the fuselage for a little Alclad.

Next up will be masking & painting the fuselage cheatline.

Just an update on this 125.I masked & painted the national flag on the tail & also masked both doors & gave them a shot of aluminium.

Then masked off the cheatline on the fuselage & sprayed it black.

That was five months or so ago & I haven't done any modelling since due to a hand injury & lack of interest.I had a look at it recently & the red coloured Matchbox plastic in the wings & main door is coming through the paint where the plastic was sanded & the shiny surface broken.Luckily theres no decals on the wings so another coat of paint might solve it (probably not). Here's a couple of shots that show the problem.

I don't know when I'll tackle this again, maybe early next year so don't hold your breath.
